In a bid to escape his pseudo night caretaker role in the office, thanks to the endless pages of creepy graphs up for scrutiny, Weiwen left the overwhelming world of client servicing. The Singaporean found his love in writing and never looked back. Working from a blank page and filling it up with vivid stories engages him like no other task. Plus, he gets to interview great folks.
After writing for a government e-portal and working as an editor for a food tabloid, Weiwen started working as a freelance writer. He loves the fact that he gets to combine his three passions of writing, travelling and dining into his job. He wouldn’t mind skipping lunch when giving life to words — except if the meal in question is a bowl of Black Pig Kyushu Ramen at his favourite Japanese eatery.
His work has appeared in various magazines, such as Frequent Traveller, The Peak, Inspire Travel, and Food and Travel.
